Bird Bird Biscuit Logo Redesign
[ PROFESSOR: Doug May | CLASS: Advanced Campaigns | YEAR: 2020]
The assignment was to choose a small business and redesign their logo. I fell in love with this restaurant in East Austin called Bird Bird Biscuit. The menu is all chicken breakfast sandwiches, with everything made in-house, right down to their golden-brown biscuits. The dining space is gorgeous, and inspired by geometry, simplified forms, and bright colors. I was surprised to learn that their logo was rather outdated, but I love a good challenge. Using rounded, geometric forms in a repeating pattern, the new design matches more of the restaurants funky existing branding, and breathes a new life into the business.
